The UK’s newest furniture retailer has chosen PMW Property’s West Way development in Somercotes, Derbyshire, as their central distribution hub. FABB Sofas have recently moved into PMW’s new 30,000 sq ft unit on the Cotes Park Industrial Estate at Somercotes, Derbyshire.
The site has excellent links to the motorway network. The A38 trunk road is just minutes away, providing easy access to the M1, essential as FABB Sofas will use the site to service their new stores from Edinburgh to Southampton.
PMW Property acquired the West Way site in 2013 and completed a comprehensive scheme of refurbishment to the existing units. The unit was also sub-divided and new tenants were almost immediately found for the two units. The construction of a new, third unit on the large rear yard area was completed at the end of 2016. PMW Property were pleased that the unit achieved the highest thermal efficiency possible with an EPC rating of ‘A’. The new unit also has ample car parking space as well as excellent vehicular access which is ideal for the requirements of FABB Sofas who now share the site with the existing tenants, Permaroof UK Ltd and Strata Products Ltd.
